Our Process

The consulting process

Every business is different and consulting is a very complex and painstaking process that takes time.
The best consultants are the ones who take the time to get this process right.

Interview

Any consulting project or long-term consulting service starts with the initiation or discovery session, which is essentially a meeting or a series of meetings between the idvantex team and the client, to understand the client's business, goals, strategy, and operations’ process.

During the discovery session together with client, we will establish if we are the right fit to provide an assist, we will identify the problem, define the field of activities, set preliminary or ultimate goals and timelines of the service to be provided.

Contract

Contract, as an integral part of the discovery session, is the last step before the idvantex team will proceed towards the development phase and dig into analysis and research. We will formulate the exact acceptance criteria and definitions of done, based on scope and targets defined during the discovery session and enclose them into a contract, together with the NDA and other terms.

Having settled the financial formalities and signed a contract, we will embark on a successful journey together.

Development

One of the key stages of the project is Development. Typically, during this phase, we perform an in-depth analysis of the data provided by the client in order to create a package of solutions and recommendations based on such data, according to set scope and goals.

We take an iterative approach during the development phase, where, depending on the complexity of the project, we will have iterations of data validation and approval sessions, hypotheses’ testing and other activities by means of site visits, face-to-face meetings, Teams calls and presentations.

Feedback

The conclusion of development stage is the Feedback. When using the information obtained and processed during the preceding stage, we will provide our feedback, present our findings, provide recommendations and allow the client time to respond.

Depending on the defined scope and goals, the feedback phase can also be a project wrap-up phase, after which the consulting process can be terminated.

Implementation

The client may or may not want the consultant's involvement during the implementation phase, but should any assistance be required, the idvantex team would help implement the changes recommended in the feedback session. We may revisit the previous phases together with the client, should problems arise, or the client have further requirements.

Completion of a successful implementation and client satisfaction with the changes, usually concludes our work, and the project can be terminated.

Follow up

Project closed and parting of ways? Yes, that's an option if the client so wishes.

We prefer to maintain a "keep in touch" and "follow up" approach, such as a telephone call within 3 months or a visit 6 months upon the project's closure, to reexamine the result of the work done and to ensure the successful development of our clients' business over a cup of tea.

Our consulting solutions are designed to be flexible, targeted and modular to solve countless challenges.

We mix and match our business processes’ improvement & management, supply chain mapping, distribution network design, warehouse processes’ planning and optimization, fleet routing and scheduling, and others.

Depending on the business goals, challenges and size of the organization, a project scope is typically determined during the initial discovery sessions.

As every customer is unique, each case is also unique. Consulting cost is determined during discovery and contract signing session, and highly dependent on the complexity of the problem and whether it is a project or a long term consulting service.
